Euro-Top 1800 roofing and sheathing membrane

Euro-Top 1800 is a highly vapor-permeable roofing membrane, suitable for all ventilated and unventilated steep roofs and for the direct installation over insulation. A non-woven material consisting of PP as top and bottom layer protects the functional membrane from damage and lessens the slip hazard. Through the use of high-grade technical PP spunbond and a material-friendly manufacturing process, extremely high tear strenghth and tear resistance are achieved. With full rafter insulation, no ventilation layer is necessary between insulation and roofing membrane. Thus, the entire rafter height can be insulated. In connection with a vapor retarder sd value > 2 m (e.g. Euro-Top vapor retarder SD 2 and SD 10) installed at the room’s interior, protection againstthe occurance of condensate is assured in accordance with DIN 4108 Not suitable for slated roofs.


Euro-Top 230 roofing and sheathing membrane

Euro-Top 230 is suitable for all unventilated (as well as ventilated) steep roofs with hard roof covering. Euro-Top 230 can be used as a roofing membrane and as a sheathing membrane. When applying to boarding, ensure that only concealed nailing or stapling is used at the overlaps. With roof adhering to the standard roof slope, the overlap is 10 - 15 cm. With a slope lower than the standard roof slope below 20 °, the minimum overlap must be 25 cm. In regard to other covering materials, the appropriate rules are to be observed. Moreover, a permit must be obtained from the manufacturer of the roofing material. The laying of Euro-Top 230 is carried out parallel to the eaves. Natural weathering should not exceed 3 months. As a basic principle, Euro-Top 230 is to be laid with counter-slats unless a roof covering with slate, roof panels, or bitumen shingles takes place.
